Lecturer in the Department of Human Services at the University of Haifa.
Areas of expertise: poverty and social exclusion, motherhood, work-family conflict, welfare state, social policy, gender and status in the labor market, street-level workers.
Prof. Roni Strier
Prof. Roni Strier teaches at the School of Social Work in the Welfare and Health Sciences Faculty, is the founder of the research center, and founder of the flagship program of the University of Haifa for the fight against poverty and social exclusion.
Areas of Expertise: Macro-practice, masculinity and fatherhood, anti-oppressive social work, policy practice, as well as poverty and social exclusion (qualitative).
Prof. Amos Meged
Amos Meged is a professor, member and head of the Helena Levine Chair in Latin American Studies in the Department of General History. His main areas of research include the early colonial history of the New World, societal and cultural history of the indigenous peoples of Mexico and the history of the Latin American family.

Dr. Noam Tarshish
Lecturer at the School of Social Work at Haifa University. His research interests are the welfare state in Israel and the world, and the ways through which policies affect people’s well-being. In this framework, he deals with the subjective experience of the social policy, the exercise of rights and the patterns of relationships created at the meeting point between the policy, the recipients of the services and the social workers.
