Prof. Roni Strier teaches at the School of Social Work in the Welfare and Health Sciences Faculty, is the founder of the research center, and founder of the flagship program of the University of Haifa for the fight against poverty and social exclusion.

Amos Meged is a professor, member and head of the Helena Levine Chair in Latin American Studies in the Department of General History. Lecturer at the School of Social Work at Haifa University. His research interests are the welfare state in Israel and the world, and the ways through which policies affect people’s well-being.
